Four cops, including RSI, suspended for helping gangster Nayeem’s associate

Hyderabad: Four cops, including an Armed Reserve Sub-Inspector (RSI) were suspended for allegedly allowing associates of slain gangster Nayeemuddin alias Nayeem to indulge in settlements.

Rachakonda police also arrested other four. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (Bhongir) S Mohan Reddy suspension orders were issued against Armed Reserve (AR) Sub-Inspector Ramesh, AR head constable Ramesh, head constable Lakshminarayana and constable Pasha, for facilitating Nayeem’s key associate Pasham Srinu to settle land disputes while going to attend trial. He said PD ACT was invoked against Pasham Srinu, a close associate of Gangster Nayeem. Srinu is presently lodged in Warangal prison.

When he was on the way to the court in Bhongir, he was allegedly found to have threatened a few persons to settle land disputes after stopping for a while at a dhaba in Pembarthi a few days ago.
