Fun events for all ages at food festival

New Delhi: Food festivals are a perfect way for families and friends to spend the weekend together. An ongoing food fiesta here offers a similar experience with varied and delicious cuisines accompanied with great music and entertainment.

The festival offers a number of food pop-ups and kiosks. Calendar’s Kitchen by Satish Kaushik, Mocha Art House, Katputhli, Cafe Yell, the Cotton Candy Company, Bunker, Naani Mathi, and many more are a part of the food fiesta.

The “Yummy Tummy Food Festival” is being held at DLF Promenade at Vasantkunj. It will conclude on Sunday.

“Food fests are very exciting for people of all ages to come together and spend time with each other while trying new foods and treats,” DLF Executive Vice President and Head Pushpa Bector.

“We are thrilled to offer this one at Promenade. We also have live bands and DJs performing so people can spend the weekend enjoyably at the mall,” she added.

The fest offers a variety of shakes, juices and ice-cream to cool down the fire of hot and spicy food.

People can start off their foodie journey with chaat served at Kathputhli or visit the West Street Grill for fries and nachos. They must visit cafe Yell, which is famous for its Italian cuisine and will serve pizzas and pastas. For a taste of Indian delights, one can visit Calendar’s Kitchen by Satish Kaushik.

To finish off, Piece of Paris will be the best place as it serves some really delightful desserts.

A line-up of fantastic live performances will amaze the crowd alongside good food.

Acts include Illusionist artist Tushar Kumar, DJs and live bands. “The World of Talent” and the garage rock band “Leaf Tone” will deliver entertaining performances.

“Fusion Addiction” as the name suggests is a fusion Indian band and will be playing a mix of Sufi, Bollywood and Punjabi folk songs and will perform on March 25. The modern rock and roll blues band “Knight Shade” will conclude the event on March 26.
