Funds for Churches, Graveyards: Talasani

Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav today said the State Government was committed for development of Christians Minorities in the State.
After an interaction with minority leaders at his chambers in Secretariat, Talasani said the TRS government will spend funds from the Minority Corporation for providing facilities at the churches and grave yards. The funds will be used for development, repair works, bore-well, toilets and compound walls in churches and grave yards. He also said the State government was providing financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh for foreign education to the minorities in addition to several welfare schemes.
He also said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was extending monetary help to the poor minority families. Shadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi are such programs offering Rs 75,116 for marriage of their girl children, he said. He said he will head a committee for identifying the churches and graveyards to provide better facilities. (NSS)
