Hyderabad: Task Force of South Zone Police arrested a gambler who was accepting betting on BBL and ODI matches.
According to the report of the police, Arun Kumar (53) was receiving betting through the bookie Banti, resident of Akula, Maharastra.
On receiving a tip, police raided flat number 2 of Raj Bhavan Apartment, located at Chappal Bazar and arrested Arun Kumar. Police seized Re. 1 lakh cash, 3 mobile phones and other articles.
It may be mentioned that he was arrested by Kachiguda Police earlier when he was involved in receiving betting on cricket matches.
