Gandra asks CM to give counter guarantee to banks on loans to farmers

Demanding the state government to make the farmers debt-free ones, Congress former MLA Gandra Venkat Ramana Reddy asked the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to give counter guarantee to the banks to get loans by the farmers.

 

Speaking to the media at Assembly premises here on Wednesday,  Gandra alleged that the TRS leaders assured many sops to come to power but now the same leaders were not trying to waive farmers’ loans. Demanding the state government to waive remaining Rs.6000 crore loans immediately, Gandra said that it was not proper to the Agriculture Minister and to say that the bankers were not extending their cooperation to the government.

 

Demanding the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to react immediately on alleged EAMCET paper leakage and order CBI inquiry, Gandra said that the government has to re-conduct the EAMCET examination if it found the paper leakage was true. (NSS)
