Nalgonda: After the attacks of Gau Rakshaks in various states, incidents of violence are occurring in Telangana State also.
In Dalit Colony of Chandur in Nalgonda District, RSS activists barged into the colony and threatened them that if they slaughter cows on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, they will also be slaughtered.
According to the reports, RSS activists abused a Dalit woman and attacked another Dalit family. They took away the cows and handed them over to the police.
The local Dalits protested saying that are they required to take permission from anyone to cook anything in their houses? Dalits pressurized the local police to register cases against RSS activists. It is reported that these activists went into the hotel which is maintained by a Dalit and demanded donation for Ganesh festival. When he refused, they damaged the hotel. Various Dalit organizations condemned this incident and stressed the need to take stern action against the miscreants.
Police arrested 21 persons and registered cases against them.
