GES: Hyderabad Schools, colleges declare holiday on November 28

Hyderabad: Schools and colleges in Hyderabad declared a holiday on 28th November fearing traffic jams due to Global Entrepreneurship Summit and the inauguration of metro rail.

According to the news published in TOI, on Tuesday, many schools including Jubilee Hills Public School, Phoenix Greens International School, Euro School, Kennedy High The Global School, Silver Oaks, Manthan International School, Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Meridian (Madhapur) declared holiday whereas Chirec International School, Glendale Academy, Delhi Public School (Nacharam) and Rockwell International declared half day.

Euro School, Gachibowli sent a mail to parents in which it was written, “Tomorrow i.e. 28th November 2017 is declared as a school holiday due to heavy traffic diversions on school transport routes,”

Meanwhile, few other schools did not declare a holiday. However, several parents decided not to send their children to school fearing traffic jams, diversions due to two important events.

Apart from schools, several colleges, educational institutions also declared a holiday on 28th November.
