GHMC officials try to demolish restaurant owned by Tarakaratna

Hyderabad: GHMC Officials tried to demolish the Drive-In Restaurant owned by cine hero Tarakaratna in Jubilee Hills citing violation of norms. They said they planned the action upon receiving complaints from the society members about the late night liquor supply and nuisance created by high-decibels of sound.

On coming to know about it, Tarakaratna rushed to the spot. A heated argument took place between the Restaurant Management and GHMC officials over this issue. Tension prevailed in the premises of the restaurant as the management tried to stop the demolition.

When the officials talked about complaints from the society members, Tarakaratna asked the officials to give some time for him. Following this, the officials temporarily stopped the demolition work.

People wonder if this is part of political vendetta or just a regular exercise. It may be recalled that Tarakaratna is a TDP Member and he even campaigned for Nandamuri Suhasini in Kukatpally during the 2018 Assembly Polls.
