Kalyan: In a heartrending incident a 2-year-old girl died after she was accidentally dropped by her father in a lake while boating. Shivkumar Sethi along with his wife and two children had gone to Kerala for a picnic. When the family was doing boating the girl slipped from the hands of her father and drowned in the lake. Father jumped into the lake to save the girl but in vain. The man who also didn’t know swimming was rescued by the locals.
Shivkumar is a software engineer resident of RTO area of Khadakpada. He had gone to Kerala for the excursion along with his wife Soumya, 14-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter. The death of the girl has put the family into a state of shock.
