Imitating others those Muslim leaders have also started giving milk bath to their leaders’ portrait. The trend of giving milk bath to the portrait of leaders as a mark of appreciation has been adopted from a religious tradition ‘Palabhishekham’ which involves shirk aspects.

They said milk is a food product wasting it is like disrespecting food. If we want to express thanks to the leaders we should do such things which can help humanity.

It must be recalled that after chief minister gave green signal to the metro rail in the old city, a leader from old city announced to give milk bath to the portrait of the chief minister, while the Joint Action Committee had taken no such decision. The same money could have been used to help poor or to distribute milk or food items to patients in the hospital.
