Global Hospital vandalism case: Four arrested

Hyderabad: On Wednesday, the Saifabad police had arrested four persons for vandalism at Global Hospital in lakdi-ka-pul on Monday night.

They were arrested based on the complaint lodged by the hospital chief security officer Mohammad Abdul Ghani. He alleged that Mir Mohiuddin Ali Khan, Mir Barkat Ali Khan, Mir Mustafa Ali Khan (sons of the deceased Shameem Begum) and Mohsin (relative) attacked their staff and vandalise the property.

Police filed cases against them under sections 148, 324, 353, 427 r/w 149 of IPC and arrested them on Wednesday morning. Section 4 of Telangana Medicare Service Institutions Act-2008 also invoked against them and they were also produced before the court. The city police commissioner said they will be punished stiffly.

The members of Indian Medical Association (IMA) and staff from Global Hospital staged a protest in front of the hospital on Wednesday, demanding justice.
