Governor administers oath of office to RS Chauhan as CJ

Hyderabad: Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States E.S.L. Narasimhan administered oath of office to Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan, Judge of Telangana High Court as Chief Justice of the Court at a solemn function held at 10.30 am in Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan on Saturday.

Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi initiated the program. High Court Registrar General A. Venkateswar Reddy read out the warrant of the President of India, appointing Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court. Governor Narasimhan and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao congratulated Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan by presenting bouquets.

Indrakaran Reddy, DGP Mahender Reddy, Judges of High Courts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, several officials and non-officials witnessed the ceremony.
