Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan today called AP Director General RP Thakur and enquired about the attack on AP Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also sought a full report on the incident.
People across the State were shocked at the major security lapse in a high-security zone like airport where everyone was subjected to a thorough frisking. Sores of Jagan’s supporters staged a dharna at the airport. Similarly, spontaneous protests erupted in other parts of the State as the news spread like wildfire. The YSRCP condemned the attack and called cowardly and demanded resignation of N Chandrababu Naidu.
