Governor greets people on eve of Christmas

Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Monday extended his heartiest greetings to all the members of the Christian fraternity and the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the eve of Christmas.

In a message, the Governor said, “Christmas is a time of joyous remembrance of Jesus Christ. It is also an occasion to renew the bonds of love, tolerance and compassion, which Jesus taught the world. The life of Jesus Christ is a source of inspiration to all of us to lead our lives with virtue and faith. On this occasion, I join my Christian brethren and sisters to pray for peace and harmony in the world. I wish all of you a Happy and Merry Christmas”.

KCR extends Chrismas greetings

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today extended Christmas greetings to the people.

In a message, the Chief Minister said the birthday of Lord Jesus, who taught us love and compassion, is celebrated worldwide with happiness and joy. He wanted people to celebrate Christmas amidst happiness and bliss.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today extended greetings to the people of both the Telugu States and in other countries on the eve of Christmas.

In a statement here today, Chandrababu said Jesus Christ preached peace and wished the welfare of human mankind. He exhorted Christians to pursue preaches of Jesus Christ.

Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy today greeted the people of both the Telugu States —Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the occasion of Christmas Eve.
YS Jagan, who is currently touring Pathapatanam Assembly Constituency in Srikakulam district as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, said Jesus had given a great message through his life and teaching, which include love for every being, sacrifice which has no barriers, peaceful co-existence , forgiveness towards the enemy, compassion for the weak and tolerance. The teachings of Jesus Christ will guide the humanity to walk in the path of righteousness”, he and asked everyone to celebrate the Christmas festival with fervour and gaiety.
