Govt. serious about protection of wakf properties: Mahmood Ali

Hyderabad: Dy. CM of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali told that Govt. is taking serious steps for the protection of wakf properties. He further told that Govt. entrusted the duty of online entries of wakf properties to Revenue Dept. in order to dislodge illegal possessions.
Mr. A.K. Khan, Advisor to Govt. told that Government took this decision under Wakf Laws. He clarified that wakf documents have not been seized but they have been given to Revenue Dept. for verification.
Mr. Mohammed Saleem, Chairman of Wakf Board applauded the efforts taken by Govt. to protect wakf properties. A meeting was held in Wakf Board Office on Wednesday which was also attended by Mr. Abdul Waheed, Advocate and member of Wakf Board.
