Hyderabad: Taking serious note of scrapping of Urdu in Dr B R Ambedkar Open University, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali contacted Vice-Chancellor of the university Seeta Rama Rao. But unfortunately, instead of accepting the facts the Vice Chancellor tried to mislead deputy CM by saying that Urdu medium has been continued for the past two years.
Deputy Chief Minister directed the Vice Chancellor to contact him by conducting a meeting with the officials. Deputy Chief Minister will soon convene a review meeting in this connection. He talked to Secretary Director Urdu Academy Prof S A Shukoor in connection with Urdu medium undergraduate courses.
Though the Vice Chancellor claimed continuation of Urdu medium the university website refutes the claim. Is the Vice Chancellor unaware of the notification issued by the university or he is trying to mislead to evade controversy?
