Grant Bradburn to be Pakistan’s new fielding coach

Karachi Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former New Zealand cricketer Grant Bradburn as the new fielding coach of the national side for a period of three years.

Bradburn has come at the place of Steve Rixon whose contract with PCB expired in June 2018.

Reflecting on his appointment, Bradburn said it is a great honour to be a part of the Pakistan team and he is looking forward to adding his experience to the squad.

“It is a great honour to be joining Pakistan Cricket Team and their high-quality coaching staff. I have seen the progress that has been made under Mickey Arthur and the opportunity to work with a leading full member team on the rise in world cricket, is a real privilege,” the Express Tribune quoted Bradburn, as saying.

“I look forward to adding my experience to the players and staff while being an integral part of the exciting and dominant team, Team Pakistan is becoming,” he added.

Bradburn will join the team in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the upcoming Asia Cup which is slated to be held from September 15 to September 28.
