Washington: It’s confirmed! American medical drama television series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ is coming back for Season 15.
With this, the Shonda Rhimes-created series has become ABC’s longest-running drama series, passing ‘The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet’ which ran for 15 seasons and 435 episodes, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
“Grey’s Anatomy’ has a special place in my heart and millions of viewers feel the same way,” ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said.
“Thanks to fiercely loyal fans who have been on this journey since the beginning, and new generations of viewers who continue to discover the joy and drama of Grey Sloan Memorial, the show is as strong as ever.”
Along with Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Kevin McKidd, Jesse Williams among others are returning for season 15. (ANI)
