Hyderabad: As part of his Southern stint in Telangana Capital, President Ramnath Kovind today offered “At Home” at Bollaram’s Rashtrapathi Nilayam in Secunderabad.
Governor ESL Narasimhan, his wife Vimala Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao attended the dinner hosted by the President and his wife Savitha Kovind. Deputy Chief Ministers Kadiam Srihari, Mahmood Ali, Speaker S Madhusudhan Chary, Council Chairman Swamy Goud, Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, leaders of various political parties, VIPs and officials were present.
The President arrived here for his four-day winter stay in Hyderabad, which is considered that shortest official visit as his predecessors used to come for a 10-day visit. On the last day of his stint, Kovind will leave for Amaravathi, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, to attend some official programs there on December 27.
