Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan today extended warm greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States on the occasion of Vinayaka Chathurthi.
“This important Hindu festival is celebrated across the country with great devotion and gaiety and with participation of youth in large number”, he said, adding, “Devotees offer prayers to Lord Ganesha to remove hurdles for the success of their every endeavour. It is customary for many to offer initial prayers to Lord Vigneswara, for the success of their new ventures. I pray to Lord Vigneswara to shower His choicest blessings on all of us to lead a life of peace and harmony this year.”
