Governor ESL Narasimhan will hoist national flag at Secunderabad Parade Grounds at 9.15 am as part of Republic Day celebrations on January 26. He will also participate in the similar event in Andhra Pradesh.
It may be mentioned here that last year, the Governor first hoisted the flag in Andhra Pradesh and returned to Hyderabad to do the same at Parade Grounds.
According to a release, the Governor will attend the Republic Day Celebrations at Parade Grounds here and hoist the flag at 9.15 am and take salute followed by an Inter-Services ceremonial parade. After participating in the Republic Day event at Parade grounds, the Governor will take a flight for Andhra Pradesh and will hoist the flag at Amaravathi at 11 am.
In Hyderabad, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Cabinet colleagues, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and officials and invitees will attend the event, while in Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, ministers and others will attend. (NSS
