Haj 2018: 2400 pilgrim from Hyderabad reached Makkah

Hyderabad: Two more groups consisting of 600 Haj pilgrims went to Makkah from Hyderabad Airport on 4th August. So far, 2400 Haj pilgrims in eight groups have reached Saudi Arabia. Mr. Jana Reddy, leader of opposition in Assembly, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir, leader of opposition in Council, Mr. Anjan Kumar Yadav, President of Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee, Mr. Mohammed Masihullah Khan, Chairman of Haj Committee and Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Special Officer of Haj Committee flagged off the buses of the Haj pilgrims through which they went to Hyderabad Airport. Mr. Shabbir presented shawls to Mr. Masihullah Khan and Prof. Shukoor.

Mr. Shabbir requested the Haj pilgrims to pray for the welfare of the community and the State. Mr. Jana Reddy congratulated the Haj pilgrims. Mr. Masihullah Khan highlighted the facilities that are being provided to Haj pilgrims at Haj House in Hyderabad. Prof. S.A. Shukoor gave the details of the arrangement of the Haj camp.

Maulana Azam Ali Sufi addressed the gathering. Maulana Abdul Ghani gave the details of the Haj activities.

Present on this occasion were Dr. Aqueel Hashmi and other members of the Haj committee.

It may be mentioned that in every flight of Saudi Airlines, 300 Haj pilgrims are being sent to Saudi Arabia.
