Haj pilgrims to fly from July 26, Air India releases flight schedule

Hyderabad: Air India has released the schedule of the flights of Haj pilgrims from Hyderabad embarkation point.

According to the schedule, Haj flights will start on 26th July and will continue till 4th August.

In all, there will be 22 flights which will carry the Haj pilgrims of Telangana, Andhra and Karnataka.

Air India will engage aircrafts of the capacities of 420, 340 and 254 passengers. As per the schedule, the first contingent of Haj pilgrims will fly at 8:30 p.m. and the second at 9:30 p.m. from Hyderabad International Airport on 26th July. There will be three flights on 27th July whereas, four groups of Haj pilgrims will fly on 28th and 29th July. There will be two flights on 30 and 31st July. On 1st and 2nd August, one group on each day will fly whereas there will two groups flying on 3rd August. The last group will fly at 10 a.m. on 4th August for Jeddah.

The return journey will start on 6th September and the last group will fly on 15th September from Madina. The Haj pilgrims will stay in Saudi Arabia for 42-44 days. The Haj pilgrims of AP will also fly from Hyderabad Airport. The haj pilgrims of Gulbarga, Bidar, Raichur and Udgir will also fly from Hyderabad.

After the approval of schedule of Haj pilgrims’ flights, Telangana Haj Committee will make arrangements for Haj camp at the Haj terminal of Hyderabad Airport.
