Hajj 2017: Fire incident near Mina, no casualty reported

MINA: A fire broke out at a warehouse inside a slaughterhouse complex in Muaisem near Mina on Sunday night, reported Saudi Gazette.

No casualty was reported in the incident, Spokesperson of the Civil Defense general directorate in Haj Col. Abdullah Al-Harthy, said.

Al-Harthy said that Civil Defense operations room received information at 8.25 p.m. about a fire at the warehouse that stocked furniture.

The Civil Defense teams were successful in totally extinguishing the fire and brought the situation totally under control.

Investigation is under way to determine the cause of a blaze, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
