After the Hajj House and buses, toilets in UP get ‘saffronised’

Agra: The influence of Kesariya Sarkar has painted the hearts of Yogi Adityanath’s supporters saffron. After Lucknow’s Hajj House getting orange, toilets in UP’s Etawah are painted saffron by village Panchayat.

The photographs showing toilets painted in orange were recently surfaced, that have been constructed by Gram Panchayat under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, reported News18.

People in Etawah’s Amritpur village have so far painted 100 toilets out of 350 toilets in total. According to them, CM Yogi would be pleased to see his favourite colour on toilets and would work for village’s development.

The decision has been unanimously taken by the village people.

Gram Pradhan Ved Pal told reporters, “100 out of 350 toilets have been saffronized and the rest will be too soon painted. The decision is not taken under any pressure. We know that this is CM’s favourite colour. Villagers hope that by looking at saffron toilets, the state government will increase development work in village.”
