Hajj: Saudi Arabia to host families of NZ terror attack victims

Riyadh [Saudi Arabia]: King of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a directive to host 200 family members of the victims of Christchurch terror attack. They will be hosted during the Hajj session of 2019.

According to the report published in Arab News, Sheikh Abdullatif bin Abulaziz Al-Asheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs made this announcement on Tuesday. He said that hosting families of the victims is the part of the country’s effort to defeat terrorism.

Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the Saudi Embassy in New Zealand are working together to ensure that the family members of the victims carry everything needed to perform Hajj.

It may be mentioned that in the month of March, firing took place at two mosques during Friday prayers in Christchurch city in the deadliest terror attack in New Zealand.
