Bareilly: Rabia Akhtar along with hundreds of women staged the protest against politicizing shariah issues. The protest staged at Seth Damodar Park. The protestors were holding placards stating that interference in the shariah will not be tolerated.
On the occasion, Rabia Akhtar told that some so-called Muslim women are trying to defame Islam. Rabia Akhtar is the manager of Janseva Social Welfare Society.
The protesting women led by Rabia Akhtar shouted slogans at the collectorate. On the occasion, Rabia Akhtar submitted 6 point memorandum to the district magistrate.
