Hyderabad: Mr. Syed Mohiuddin Ahmed Qadri, alias Hamid Qadri passed away in Hyderabad on 1st May. He was ailing for quite some time. His funeral prayer was held at Dargah Hazrat Afzal Biyabani, Qazipet on 2nd May. He was buried in the graveyard of Dargah Afzal Biyabani.
It may be mentioned that Mr. Hamid Qadri was the son-in-law of founder editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Late Mr. Abid Ali Khan. He was the maternal grandson of Syed Shah Afzal Biyabani.
He also functioned as the incharge of Intekhab Press of Siasat Urdu Daily for a long time. His services were applauded.
Recitation of Quran is being arranged on Wednesday, 2nd May after Isha Prayer at Dargah Biyabani.
Mr. Qadri was a very popular person among religious and literary circles. The third day ceremony will be held on Thursday at Dargah Afzal Biyabani, Qazipet and other ceremony will be held on Friday after Asar prayer at Dargah Syed Ahmed Badpa, Ahmednagar, First Lancers.
