New Delhi: UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday has expressed party’s happiness over victory in three states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
Reacting to the recent victory in these states she called this a ‘Congress victory over BJP’s negative politics’ and said she was ‘happy’ with the results, TOI reports.
These victories have proved that it really did pay off when Rahul Gandhi took over as the party’s president exactly a year ago on December 11, 2017 and now will be a viable alternative to Modi in 2019.
