A 32-year-old woman committed suicide due to alleged harassment by her husband.
The victim, Rizwana Begum, resorted to the extreme step at her residence in MIG BHEL by hanging to the ceiling on Saturday night. She was allegedly being harassed by her husband Shaik Qadeer as she did not give birth to a boy. The couple had three daughters.
Chandanagar police have registered a case under Section 306 against Qadeer and began investigation. (INN)
