Harbhajan Singh hits out at Ravi Shastri after team India’s defeat at Lords.

London: Team India are 0-2 down in the five-Test series against England after experiencing an innings defeat in the second Test at Lord’s. Right after the disastrous second Test defeat to England at Lord’s, Team India came under the firing line While the skipper Virat Kohli wasn’t spared, fingers were also pointed out at head coach Ravi Shastri.

Indian bowler Harbhajan Singh, who has 417 Test wickets to his name was disappointed with the fightback shown from the no. 1 side in the ICC Test rankings also he came hard on head coach Ravi Shastri saying he needs to be answerable for the team’s dismal performance in the ongoing series.

“We haven’t shown any intent to fight back. The willingness to win is missing and that is most disheartening. We are losing without posing any challenge to the opponent. It is extremely disappointing, I feel that constant chopping and changing among the playing XI has to lead to such defeats.” Said Singh.

“On foreign tours, a good opening partnership makes such a huge difference but in every match, our opening pair is getting changed. In every game, the playing eleven is getting changed. Even the middle order isn’t set. At the Lord’s, we had a green wicket and overcast conditions but the team management decided to play two spinners.” He added.
