Hyderabad: TRS senior leader T Harish Rao today assured to build a Christmas Bhavan for the Christian community in Siddipet. Harish attended the Christmas celebrations and greeted Christians on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said he would construct a building for the Christian community at a cost of Rs 25 lakh. “With the blessings of the people of the constituency, I got 1.20 lakh majority votes”, he said, adding that the ruling party retained power as people of the State reposed faith in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s leadership.
The State government will provide housing facility for the poor Christians in the two-bed room housing facility, he said. The KCR Government was No. 1 in the country in implementing welfare programs for the have-nots and being appreciated by all other States. The irrigation projects will be completed soon to irrigate one crore acres to develop agriculture sector, he said. The farmers are relieved of the loans through the Rythu Bandu and Rythu Bheema schemes which are first of their kind in the country, he claimed.
