Harish responds to Revanth plea to solve farmers’ problems

Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy, who was spearheading agitation in the Enumamuka agriculture market in Warangal District on farmers’ problems , today spoke to Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on telephone and pleaded with him to help the farmers get remunerative price for chilli and red gram. 

When Revanth Reddy urged the minister to ensure minimum support prices for mirchi and kandi   (chilli and pulses crop), Harish Rao responded positively and assured him that the State government would buy the products at reasonable prices.

The TTDP today organized a rally highlighting farmers’ problems from Enumamulu agriculture market to the district headquarters. Party leaders Ravula Prakash Reddy, Sitakka and others participated in the rally.

Meanwhile, a TDP delegation, led by State party president L Ramana, called on Governor E S L Narasimhan on people’s problems. They discussed with the Governor on the present political situation in the State as well the State government’s negligent attitude towards the government hospitals.

Speaking to the media later, Ramana demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao release funds liberally to run the government hospitals effectively.
