HC cancelled Ayub Khan’s bail plea, sent to jail

On October 30, justice Sathyanarayana Murthy passed the order to Khan to surrender before the chief Metropolitan on November 1st. He with his followers arrived at Nampally Criminal court and surrendered before the court.

He filed an appeal before the HC after the session judge cancelled his bail.

On Thursday, Ayub Khan was sent to Chanchalguda jail after the Hyderabad HC declined to interfere with the orders of a sessions court at Nampally in the fake passport case.

Khan said, “ I have been targeted by my opponents as I was aspiring to contest the elections.” In early August, Khan was convicted seven years in a fake passport case. The court has also convicted his wife and two Qazi’s for helping the gangster. TNN
