The High Court today directed the State government and Legislature secretary to submit original CC footage of the proceedings of the joint session of legislature held on March 12, on March 22 in a sealed cover.
Dealing with the expelled Congress MLAs’ case here on Monday, the Court asked the State government and Legislature secretary to file counters within a week in this regard. The Court also asked the Election Commission to express its opinion on imposing stay for a week on issuing election notification. The Election Commission informed the court that it will announce its decision by 3.30 pm. (NSS)
