HC grants 7 days to Inter Board on results

Hyderabad: Board of Intermediate Education today pleaded with the High Court to grant seven days to come up with details of results after reverification and recounting.

The board earlier agreed to release the results on May 10 but now seeking seven more days. In a petition, Child Rights Organization sought action against the Globarena Technologies for alleged goof-up that led to suicides by the students. The High Court asked the BIE to give details of results and it informed that the process was yet to complete. The board appealed to the court to grant seven more days to complete the process. The court adjourned the case to May 15 and asked the board to come up with the details. About 3.28 lakh students failed whose exam papers which are being revaluated free of cost by the government. The court directed the board to complete the process and give details in seven days.

The political parties are staging protests against the government failure on inter results fiasco. They are moving courts and also appealing to Governor and president and Union Home minister on the failure by the state government that led to confusion among parents and students. The state government has offered free of cost the reverification and recounting of exam papers.
