Hyderabad: A student of Hyderabad Central University (HCU) was killed on the spot and two others injured when her car rammed a road divider at Burjugadda under Shamshabad rural police limits here in the wee hours of Tuesday two others in the ill-fated car were injured grievously.
The deceased identified as Ananya of Uttar Pradesh was driving her Hyundai car towards Shadnagar along with two campus mates. She was moving at high speed on the ORR and lost control of the vehicle at Burjugadda.
The car rammed the road divider and overturned killing Ananya on the spot. Two other girls, who sustained grievous injuries have been shifted to a hospital. A pall of gloom descended on the HCU campus following the death of the student. (NSS)
