The Heart of Incredible India – MP Tourism invites

Hyderabad: Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board today invited the people of Hyderabad to witness “The Heart of Incredible India ‘ as part of a road show organized here today which was an attempt to bring together different stakeholders of the region on a common platform and also showcase the tremendous tourism potential the state has.

Mr Yuvraj Padole Deputy Director Events and Marketing, making a presentation on the various types of tourism on offer including adventure, pilgrimage, wildlife etc he said that Madhya Pradesh is not only home to two Jyotirlingas Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar but Burhanpur and Bhopal exhibit the wonderful architecture of the Mughal dynasty. Gwalior and Mandu are some of the historical beautiful architectural sites whereas Indrasagar Gandhisagar, Tawa and Bargi are the spellbinding water bodies.

Madhya Pradesh is not only known for its Marble rocks Bhimbetka cave paintings but is famous for its Cultural events like Khajuraho dance festival, Malwa Utsav, Tansen Festival, Allauddin Music fest and added that Madhya Pradesh is melting pot of various faiths, ethnicities as well as culture.

He said that Madhya Pradesh is also an attractive destination from an investment point of view. It is an investment-friendly destination. It has come up with a new tourism policy to give a fresh look for tourist investors and is also providing hand holding to the investor. Presently the Government has developed 250-way side amenities fifty percent of which have already been constructed and allotted to the stakeholders.

Mr Vivek Corporate marketing spoke of the biggest convention centre which Madhya Pradesh has built and is reaching out to international and national stakeholders to organize conventions seminars and conference in the city.

He said that the Khajuraho festival of dances is held in February and the Tansen Sangeeth Samoroh is an annual event where a large number of tourist participate. Madhya Pradesh besides offering Rural and tribal tourism is also organizing tourism for tourist to have a look at the beautiful textiles of Chanderi, Bagh prints on silk. Likewise, Film tourism is offered to filmmakers which become famous tourist spots. A lot of facilities including single window clearance are being provided to Filmmakers to shoot films in Madhya Pradesh.

The State is also well known for wildlife tourism and now luxury hotels are coming up and the State has tied up with popular hotels like the Oberois, Radisson Orange County Clark groups etc who have invested hugely in the State .

Highlighting the hospitality of Madhya Pradesh he said that the cuisine is very popular in both vegetarian nonvegetarian category including the Bhutte ka Khees, Sheek Kebabs Bhopali Gosht Korma, POha Jalebi to name a few.

He further said that the Government has taken multiple initiatives its heritage properties are now being leased to give luxurious hospitality to its tourist and are being promoted for private investments by the State.

Highlighting the major exhibitions in the coming phases Madhya Pradesh Tourism will be exhibiting in the Tourism Fair to be held at Ahmedabad, India International Travel Mart Bangalore, and many others. Visitors can visit Pachmarhi during Monsoon Marathon or Go for Go Heritage Run, Cycle Safari and Adventure Activities across River Narmada which is very popular.

It is also looking at good infrastructure, airlines connectivity and inviting investors to invest in Madhya Pradesh for further development Last year Madhya Pradesh attracted 8.5 crore domestic tourists and 4.5 lakh foreign visitors. It has also encouraging home stays called experiential tourism.
