Here is how Dipika celebrates her first Eid post marriage with Shoaib

MUMBAI: The preparations for actress Dipika Kakar’s first Eid after marriage to actor Shoaib Ibrahim recently are going on in full swing.

Dipika, who converted to Islam and changed her name to Faiza Ibrahim post Nikaah with Shoaib was asked by SpotboyE to comment on how the fasting month of Ramzan going for her, she replied:

“It’s going very well, I’m trying to observe Roza, to the best of my ability. It’s not that difficult as I have observed Roza, before marriage as well”.

Talking about her plans for Eid, Dipika retorted, “I will definitely spend time with family, after all it’s my first Eid after marriage. Everyone in the family is very excited right now, we even have a brand new wardrobe for the festival”.

“I would be wearing a green coloured Sharara. At least, that’s the plan. I am also excited much about the elaborate henna that would be applying on my hands, the day before,” she added.

Speaking about life after marriage, Dipika was quoted as saying, “Life is wonderful, exactly the way I had envisioned. Things are peaceful and smooth. I am getting time to spend with myself, Ammi (Shoaib’s Mother) Saba (Shoaib’s sister). I cook for Shoaib, he gets a packed lunch for work. I am loving it as I am a very homely person”.

The much-in-love couple got married on February 22, 2018 in the presence of their close friends and family at Shoaib’s hometown Bhopal.

Earlier, speaking to Times Of India, Dipika had said, “The reason behind changing my name for the wedding is very personal which I, my husband, parents, and in-laws know about it and I would like to keep it private. I would not like anyone else to enter that space, so please bear with me.”
