Linking Pan Card With Aadhaar Card Through Website
Step 1
To link the documents Visit, the official e-filing portal.
@ https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home
Click on the left panel – Link Aadhaar.
Step 2
Fill The Following Sections, You will have to add the necessary details like
PAN NUMBER ________________
AADHAAR NUMBER ________________
NAME AS PER AADHAAR ________________
Now if you have only year of birth in your aadhaar card then tick the check box
Agree to validate your Aadhaar Details with UIDAI by ticking the check box
Enter the captcha code shown on your screen.
Now Request for OTP (one time password) by ticking the check box, you will get OTP and enter your mobile number. Enter the code you receive on your mobile number and then click LINK AADHAAR and you are done.
You will get a message on your screen that Aadhaar-Pan linking is completed successfully.
Once the verification is done by UIDAI, the Aadhaar will be linked with PAN card
Now if you want to confirm the status, then go to Profile Settings on the same website and select Link Aadhaar. If your Aadhaa-Pan linking is successful then it will display a message saying Your Pan Is Linked To Aadhaar Number
Linking Pan Card With Aadhaar Card Through SMS
Simply send a Sms from your mobile to 567678 or 56161 in the below format.
UIDPAN <space> <12 DIGIT AADHAAR> <space> <10 DIGIT PAN >
After Verification From Unique Identification Authority Of India (UIDAI) the linking will be confirmed.
