Job Description:
PSR are urgently seeking multiple Contract Managers for a large and ground-breaking project based in Oman. The client is an exceptionally well regarded international design consultant who have offices across the Middle East. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leading business on a project expected to be handed over in 2020.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Contracts Manager will be expected to have significant knowledge across various project types and integrate quickly into a well-established team. Rock solid understanding of contractual documentation and close-out procedures is required.
* To ensure a communication schedule is agreed with all parties
* To oversee the preparation of cost reports
* To manage others and participate in the commercial administration and management of contracts including cost reporting, preparation and negotiation of claims
* To oversee and participate in close out of contracts and deals with claims to satisfactory conclusions
* Problem solving and dispute resolution with contractors
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in relevant discipline
* Minimum of 8 years’ experience in commercial and contracts management
* Remote location with Oman
