Role Overview
The PHP Programmer role comprises of design, requirements analysis, front and back-end development and support of a range of online services. As a key member of the team you will play an active role in scoping and building advanced solutions with a variety of tools, aiding in the delivery of web products of the highest quality.
Key Skills:
Successful commercial background in developing and supporting web applications & websites
Extensive PHP programming skills and back end programming experience and exposure to popular development frameworks.
Solid Knowledge in OOP design principles.
Solid Understanding of relevant online/web technologies including CSS, XHTML, JQUERY, JAVASCRIPT & MYSQL
Skilled in integrating with RESTful API’s.
Solid Experience with AWS/Cloudflare.
A Creative flair.
Great communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop a hybrid cross platform application to deliver business functionality from a single code base to multiple web and mobile platforms.
Develop and enhance graphic control systems to improve the efficiency of interface loading & transaction management systems.
Requirement gathering & analysis
Provide team leadership in both an architecture and visionary perspective.
Designing and developing cross browser compatible, responsive and mobile friendly UI’s
Developing and integrating with a variety of API’s to drive functionality.
Working with the team to test and deploy your code into a production environment.
Participating in discussions about design and coding best-practices.
Skills Required:
Strong skills in PHP, CAKEPHP, HTML5, CSS
Experience with any of the major PHP frameworks – ZEND, Codeigniter, Symfony, Bootstrap, Laravel.
Great Javascript skills, including jQuery and Backbone.js
Strong eye for design and emphasis on creativity throughout all your work
Experience with cross browser compatibility testing.
