Hit back Congress for vilification campaign: Harish

Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has called upon the TRS leaders and activists to counter the misinformation campaign of Congress leaders against the TRS government.

Speaking to the media hereĀ on Monday, Harish Rao said the previous Congress government did not care to complete the projects then and now the Congress leaders were creating hurdles in construction of projects taken up by the TRS government. He assured the activists that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would do justice to every activist worked for the ruling party. He said the Chief Minister was filling all nominated posts within a week.

Harish Rao said the State government has purchased 12 lakh quintals of lentils (kandulu) through 95 purchase centers this year and reminded that the government had constructed 17 lakh metric ton capacity godowns across the State. He said water will be provided to 2.6 lakh acres through Baswapur and Gandhamalla reservoirs. The tender process for works worth Rs 284 crore for Bunadigani canal was over, he added. (NSS)
