Renouwned Professor of Surgery and HOD Osmania Medical College Dr. Waliuddin passes away.
He was on his way to US. His body is being flown back to Hyderabad. SIBN felicited him recently for his outstanding achivement.
His brief achievements in surgery:
Dr Md Waliuddin done his MBBS in 1953, FRCS in 1959. He was Professor in OMC from 1965 to 1988, General Surgery, Gastro, Vagotomy, GJ, ABD Iliac resection, Gall bladder and various CBD surgery.
Urology: Calculus nephrectomy Anderson Hync pyloplasty
Oncology: Parotid surgery saving the facial nerve, block dissection of malignant lymph nodes resection of mandible with 12 th rib graft.
