Honeypreet confesses to incite violence in Panchkula- report

Panchkula: Rahim Rahim’s aide, Honeypreet Insan, who is currently in the custody of Haryana Police, has reportedly confessed that she was involved in inciting violence, that was erupted on August 25 claiming 41 lives in Panchkula and Sirsa.

A Panchkula court had increased Honeypreet’s police custody by three-days till Oct 13, after it was found that she was not cooperating with Haryana police in the investigation. The police had sought more time to interrogate her, reports the Statesman.

Priyanka Taneja aka Honeypreet had remained fugitive for 38 days after she was booked by the Haryana Police on the charge of sedition. She got arrested on Tuesday from the Zirakpur-Patiala highway, 15 km from Chandigarh.
