Hong Kong stocks close down after holiday

Hong Kong: Hong Kong stocks ended lower Friday over pessimism about US-China trade talks and European growth, following the three-day Lunar New Year break.

The Hang Seng Index sank 0.16 percent, or 43.89 points, to 27,946.32.

Shanghai and Shenzhen remain closed for the week.
