Hong Kong: Hong Kong shares edged down in the morning session Friday as punishing US tariffs on Chinese imports took effect, marking the start of President Donald Trump’s trade war with China.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.48 percent, or 135.20 points, to 28,046.89.
