Jaipur: A 20-year-old girl was allegedly hacked to death by her father for eloping with a boy younger to her in Rajasthan- a case of Honour Killing is reported.
The incident was reported on Saturday from Anoopgarh Town of Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar District were the accused Balveer Singh(45) allegedly hacked his daughter to death using an axe while she was asleep, said SHO Anoopgarh Naresh Kumar, PTI reported.
According to reports, the girl was in a relationship with a younger boy and the duo had eloped to escape the torment of their families said Kumar.
Though they were traced and brought to homes by the Police, the girl’s father who was unhappy with her act decided to kill her.
