Hyd: Biryani served by this eatery enters the Limca Book of Records

HYDERABAD: Restaurant chain Paradise, which is known for its world-famous tasty spicy biryani have now set a record for ‘Most biryani servings in a calendar year’.

According to the Limca Book of Records 2019, between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 the Hyderabad branch of the restaurant had sold 70,44,289 biryani.

“Limca Book has recorded that Paradise Food Court has sold 70,44,289 biryani servings between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017…The achievement is recorded in the 2019 edition of the Limca Book of Records,” the restaurant said in a press release issued last week.

In addition to it, the restaurant also bagged the award for the ‘Restaurant serving the best Biryani’ at the Asia Food Congress held in Mumbai.

Ali Hemati, Chairman, Paradise Food Court has also been accorded with the Lifetime achievement award for his contribution to food, restaurant and hospitality services.

Gautam Gupta, CEO, Paradise Food Court,  told Business Line, “Entering the Limca Book of Records and being rated as the ‘Restaurant Serving Best Biryani’ by the Asia Food Congress gives us twin joy and is a testament to the love our loyal customers shower on us. The Asia Food Congress honouring our Chairman showcases the legacy we have built over the past several decades.”
