Hyderabad: The Shamshabad Airport security seized 1.8 kilos of gold, which was in the form of paste, today from the smugglers. The police seized the gold from the commuter came from Madhurai to Hyderabad.
The security authorities found 1120 gram gold after melting it and its worth was Rs 34.57 lakh. DRI Additional DG MK Singh said they seized the gold for not having any sort of bills. The commuter, who was smuggling the gold, informed that he brought it from Colombo. (NSS)
